Travel blog

I decided to start a blog about my travels as a way of sharing photos and sketches from my many trips around Scotland and further afield to gain inspiration for my art. Some are just day trips, others are longer. I take many photos while out and also try to get as many Plein air sketches done as possible while I’m there.

I’ll try and post quite regularly to keep the blog up to date but it will vary depending on what time of year it is and the time available I have to go places. Much as I’d love to go to deep into the heart of mountainous areas when there is deep snowfall and everything is dazzling white covered with icy masses of snow, transport issues and road closures prevent that!

So far I have just done a few posts, but more will be coming over the next few weeks.
